Joran Nerium stood in the woods, preparing for battle. He looked around at his surroundings, noticing the thick smog surrounding the forest. Hmph He thought to himself. Some Ancients...leaving this place in such shape... His thoughts became more aggressive. The trees swayed as a dark wind came tunnelling through the woods. He suddenly smiled mischeviously, listening to the creaks and caws of the tree land. His dark eyes rested upon a dead tree near him. "Hmm..." He wondered, withdrawing his double ended broadsword. Swinging it around in a martial arts-type method, the blade whistled as it crashed with the wind. Humming with energy, he slashed at the tree, almost cutting it in two. It was apparant that his age did nothing to his strength.
He snatched his sword back, watching as dark shadows crept all around him. It was a gang of knights and two archers. "d**n...come here to see the show?" He said, his sarcastic side kicking in. He smiled on the inside, knowing that he was going to love the bloodshed. He wasted no time. He struck one knight on the head with one end of his sword and yanked it backwards, penetrating through the body of one archer. The other backed up a bit, but she seemed fearless. "I will save you for last." He said, turning to another knight. The knight swung his sword sideways at a low angle. Joran did a 180 jump, releasing his arm. It connected with the nose of the knight. "You really should wear a helmet." He said darkly. Within a few moments, the knights were done with. He dropped his blade and prepared his fight with the archer.
The archer seemed to have a bit of fear coursing through her. She shot an arrow with her eyes shut. But, it was good aim for having her lids closed. He grabbed the arrow. His attention was slightly distracted with the attire of the archer. She wore the basic amazon attire, revealing her toned body. He smiled, looking into her deep green eyes. It was like staring into an empty, endless forest. Her brown hair pulled up in a ponytail wrap. He smiled, admiring her beauty. His smile faded as she shot an arrow at him, this time, eyes open. It caught his leg. He screeched, then calmed down. "Ya know, that does hurt..." He said to her, snatching the arrow out of his leg. She flinched. "If I wanted to kill you, I would have done it already." He said, watching as she lowered her bow. He took a step closer as she dropped the bow. Finally... He said, walking over to her. He was just about to tell her whom he was when she swung at him, connecting with the jaw. It was a spin-like maneuver. During the spin, she somehow managed to lower herself close to the ground and trip him.
"Great!" He said, angered. He kipped up. "Now, you've pissed me off." He informed her. She went for another swing. This time, he caught her hand. He rolled back onto his back, flinging her behind him into a tree. He figured this would give him time. She must have gotten up very quickly. By the time he had gotten up, she kicked him in the back, knocking him to his knees. He smiled. Before she could react, he did a handstand-type movement. He stuck a leg on each side of her head. Grinning broadly, he twisted. Doing so flung the girl, spinning in one direction. As he stood, he looked and noticed she was angered. She climbed a tree rather quickly. He laughed very loudly, casting the illusion that the tree was endless. As she reached the top, she kept going, "seeing" that the tree was higher. She quickly fell out of the tree. He caught her. "Hi." He said, smiling at her. The Illusion had come to pass, therefore disappeared.
